Lawyers Take Part In Bristol’s ‘Rainbow Run’
A group of ten lawyers from Irwin Mitchell’s Bristol office will be covered in every colour in the rainbow as they take part in the 5K Rainbow Run in the heart of the city at the weekend to raise vital funds for a local children’s hospice.
Money raised on the day will be donated to the Children’s Hospice South West which provides care and support for children with life limiting illnesses.
The ‘Rainbow Run’ takes place in Bristol this weekend (Saturday 20th June) with over thousands of runners being covered head to toe in powder paint as they make their way around the 5K course over The Downs to support a local charity close to their hearts.
One of Irwin Mitchell’s clients Ollie Lewis, who has a severe brain injury and cerebral palsy following complications at birth, receives respite care from the Children’s Hospice South West and it has proven to be a real lifeline for Ollie’s parents, Neil and Charmaine.
Ollie’s parents Neil and Charmaine, said: “We are so grateful that organisations like the Children’s Hospice South West are available as it provides us and Ollie with vital support and care when we need it the most.
“When Ollie visits the hospice we know that he will be receiving specialist care with trained professionals and is able to enjoy fun activities such as hydrotherapy, as well as a respite break for us.”
