Latest Appointment Continues Commercial Investment
The Birmingham office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has announced the appointment of Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor, Amy Keogh, as its investment in expanding its commercial offering to clients continues.
Joining from Squire Patton Boggs, Amy specialises in advising insolvency practitioners, institutional lenders and major corporates on contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters in respect of corporates and individuals. Over the last 15 months, she has also been on secondment to RBS Global Restructure Group in Birmingham on a part-time basis.
Her appointment is the latest addition to Irwin Mitchell’s Business Legal Services (BLS) team in Birmingham and follows the news it has recruited Partner Stephen George. Stephen, who joins in February, is a respected insolvency lawyer and an expert on pension deficit issues and his clients include insolvency practitioners, banks, corporates and asset based lenders.
Commenting on her appointment, Amy said: "Irwin Mitchell provides an exciting opportunity for me. It has continued to invest in its Restructuring and Insolvency practice in the last 12 months and the appointment of Stephen George is another clear signal of intent for building a market leading insolvency and ABL offering across the UK. I’m looking forward to being part of a fast growing business where I can provide a first class service to clients and develop my own career.”
