Exciting Expansion Of World Class Research And Teaching Centre
National law firm Irwin Mitchell‘s Construction team is advising on the construction agreements and development obligations for London Business School’s proposed new campus building.
London Business School is refurbishing Old Marylebone Town Hall in central London, which it acquired in 2013, in order to re-open it in late 2016 as a world-class research and teaching centre. The building is vacant and work on the site has commenced. Wates Construction Limited has been appointed as the main works contractor.
To support its vision, London Business School has launched a five-year fundraising campaign to secure £100 million - of which £40 million will be allocated to building projects. The School has already raised £87 million towards this target.
Law firm Mishcon de Reya is advising on the real estate aspects of the refurbishment and Nabarro advised the freeholder, Westminster City Council.
