Day One aims to help victims of major trauma brought to Leeds to rebuild their lives, provide support for their family and friends, and give them hope in challenging times.
The Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office is supporting the charity by supplying and managing a helpline which patients and families can call for advice and support, as well as sponsoring the charity brochures.
Set up by Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation, Day One will help patients that have been through major trauma by:
• Supporting patients and their families during their hospital stay.
• Supporting staff working through training and education.
• Funding the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment within the major trauma centre.
• Breaking research and innovation in Leeds.
