Law Firm Celebrates Successful Masquerade Ball Fundraiser

The Manchester office of Irwin Mitchell has announced that its musical masquerade ball raised £8,000 for The Prince’s Trust’s ‘Million Makers’ initiative.

Organised by a team of volunteers from across the firm’s Business and Personal Legal Services divisions, the event at The Hilton in Manchester on 25 September was attended by over 170 people to help raise awareness and funds for the national charity.

On the night guests took part in a silent auction and raffle and were treated to performances from musicians and artists from the Manchester Jazz Festival, the Siemens Hallé Corporate Choir and the Manchester Camerata.

The charity ball was part of The Prince's Trust Million Makers initiative which is a national competition, challenging teams of employees to come together and raise £1 million in aid of the Trust.

The Prince’s Trust helps young people across the UK who are not in education, employment or training. In the past year, the Trust has supported 58,000 unemployed 13 to 30 year olds by giving them the skills and assurance they need to help with find work.
