

Irwin Mitchell Sponsors High Profile Seminar
Over 100 leading individuals from the North West commercial property sector attended a high profile briefing on commercial property finance and investment.
The event, which was organised by online news website, Place North West, took place on 13 October at the newly completed One St Peter's Square landmark office development in central Manchester.
Keynote speaker, Trevor Williams, chief economist at Lloyds Bank, addressed an audience which included representatives from Bruntwood, Maple Grove Developments, Muse, Northern Trust and Urban Splash.
Other speakers and panellists included Mike King, senior director in valuations at GVA, Patrick Duffy, real estate partner at Irwin Mitchell, Sean Davies, head of finance - commercial and public sector reform, Manchester City Council and Angela Fielding, senior projects director, Argent .
The discussion covered the current bank lending picture, supply and demand for investment stock in and around Manchester, new forms of development finance and public intervention models.
