

New Recruits Join Fast-Growing Cambridge Office
Top 20 law firm Irwin Mitchell, which opened a new office in Cambridge in July of this year, has announced new appointments to the Medical Negligence team based in the city.
Experienced medical negligence Partner Guy Forster is returning to Irwin Mitchell to head up the team in Cambridge. Guy has most recently been a Partner at the Cambridge office of Pennington Manches but he previously worked at Irwin Mitchell in Birmingham working his way up to associate level before moving to Cambridge a few years ago.
Guy acts for clients who have suffered a wide range of medical negligence issues including birth injury or surgery cases. He has also developed a strong reputation for helping people with IVF and fertility treatment claims.
Also joining the team is Tim Deeming who is an experienced Associate Solicitor and has made the move from Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office. They are joined by trainee solicitor Samuel Lindsay.
The new medical negligence team will work closely with Solicitor Sean Attwood who carries out Court of Protection work, and Caroline Barrett, Solicitor, who has moved to Cambridge from Irwin Mitchell’s London office and specialises in public law cases helping to protect and promote individual rights of including challenging unfair cuts to services, protecting the interests of individuals who lack capacity and access to special education needs.
