Legal Experts Contacted For Help Regarding Cuban Site
Travel law experts who are representing a number of holidaymakers who have reported problems during stays at the Playa Pesquero holiday resort in Cuba in March 2014 have heard further reports of concerns regarding the site.
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist international travel law team, which acts for people who have suffered serious illness at holiday resorts and on cruise ships across the globe, are concerned by reports that a wedding party who holidayed at the hotel may have also suffered with symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach pain and vomiting.
The national law firm is currently acting for clients who holidayed at this hotel during 2012, 2013 and 2014 and has previously helped holidaymakers affected by problems at the site in 2008 and 2009 and have been successful in obtaining considerable compensation for those clients.
Complaints during these years have included new food often being added to existing food, food appearing to be re-heated at times and food being re-served on more than one occasion. There have also been complaints about insects landing on some of the food, cats and birds often being seen around the restaurant area.
Expert Opinion
We already act for a number of people who fell ill at this hotel, and we are worried to hear these further first-hand accounts of problems at this resort and would be keen to hear from anyone else who has also faced issues during stays at the hotel.
"Our own investigations into these issues are continuing and we are determined to provide answers to holidaymakers about what they have faced." Amandeep Dhillon - Partner
