Linda Jackson died on 18th August last year after an out-of-hours nurse employed by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust was called out to administer medication at the family home in Balby, Doncaster.
An inquest into the 60-year-old’s death will be held on 4th and 5th of August at Doncaster Coroner’s Court before Mr R F Curtis, Assistant Coroner for South Yorkshire (East District).
Linda’s husband Tony and her three grown-up children have instructed expert medical negligence lawyers at Irwin Mitchell to represent them at the hearing.
Speaking on their behalf, Rosie Charlton from Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office, said: “Linda’s family have been left devastated by their loss.
“They have concerns about the standard of care that Linda received and hope that the inquest will go some way in providing information about the circumstances of her death.”
