Latest Announcement Highlights Strength Of IM’s Real Estate Team In North West
Irwin Mitchell’s Real Estate team in Manchester is in the running to be named as ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ at next month’s annual North West Property Awards.Organised by North West Business Insider magazine, the prestigious event will take place at Manchester Central on 15 May 2014 and will highlight excellence across a range of areas including property development, architecture and investment.
Amongst the 14 awards announced on the night will be a prize for ‘North West Property Personality of the Year’ – a category sponsored by Irwin Mitchell.
In addition to being named on the shortlist in the legal category, two of the deals that Irwin Mitchell advised on during the last 12 months are included in the shortlist for ‘Property Deal of the Year’. These transactions are ITV’s disposal of its former ITV Granada headquarters on Quay Street and the sale of Exchange Quay, the 430,000 sq ft office development in Salford Quays.
Other high profile deals that the team has worked on recently include advising Resolution Property on its £71m purchase of the Great Northern Warehouse on Manchester’s Deansgate.
