Former Doctor Due To Be Sentenced In Exeter In October

A former junior doctor at Torbay Hospital is set to be sentenced at Exeter Crown Court next month, after he pleaded guilty to 11 counts of voyeurism and two counts of sexual assault.

Suhail Ahmed, 27, from Cardiff was released on bail pending pre-sentence reports at a hearing yesterday (September 3rd), in relation to allegations of sexual assault and taking photographs of female patients at the hospital between March and June last year.

Mr Ahmed was suspended by the General Medical Council in July 2012 and he has now been ordered to sign the sex offenders register.
