Expert Reacts As Report Highlights Growth Potential In SMEs
By Rob Dixon
Legal experts specialising in support for SMEs have welcomed another report which has indicated that such companies may hold the key to the UK’s economic recovery in the near future.
Research produced by bodies including the Aston Business School and Leeds University Business School found that companies which had been through a support programme operated by Goldman Sachs were able to highlight positive results in terms of recruitment, increasing turnover and growing their confidence.
The authors of the report suggested that the results demonstrated what could be done in terms of ensuring growing businesses are given the help they need to thrive in the difficult economic climate.
The release of the study has come just weeks after the Government announced the launch of a £300 million fund to support SME growth.
