Interviews Underway To Discover More About Incident
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is continuing its enquiries after a light aircraft crashed into the English Channel on Saturday (November 12th).
Ian and Anne-Marie Dickinson, residents of Alderney, were on board the Piper PA-28 aircraft when it came down around 25 miles off the coast of Guernsey. While the latter was rescued by a Russian cargo ship, the search for Mr Dickinson was called off on Sunday afternoon.
Interviews are now being held to learn more about the crash, which is thought to have occurred as the plane was making its way from an airport close to Portsmouth back to Alderney.
