Consultant Joins London Office
Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell announces a further major appointment to its London office with the appointment of Sue Wilson as a Property Litigation Consultant.
Sue Wilson was previously a partner in the property litigation team at Lawrence Graham LLP until November 2009, where she co-managed a dedicated property litigation team of 3 partners and 7 assistants.
The appointment is the latest in a series of senior property appointments at Irwin Mitchell as it drives forward its strategic growth plan for its corporate, real estate and banking division. Last year the firm recruited highly regarded property law strategist Geoffrey Lander, followed by the appointment in November of SJ Berwin head of real estate Jon Vivian, who joined with six other partners and a team now numbering 23. In February 2011, commercial and property lawyer Paul Firth joined the firm from DLA Sheffield where he had been office managing partner for 14 years to work with the firm’s Head of Business, Niall Baker to develop the practice across the UK.
Commenting on the appointment, Jon Vivian, Head of Real Estate in London said, “Irwin Mitchell already has a strong property litigation practice nationally, but Sue’s appointment fills the gap in London and we believe she will be a great asset in our establishment of a first class property team here. She has strong experience, not only in property litigation matters, but also in business development and client care.”
