Children Treated To Performances
Children from a range of local charities enjoyed a Theatre party at the West Yorkshire Playhouse last month after being invited by law firm Irwin Mitchell.
Over 115 guests enjoyed the annual Winter event which took place on Tuesday 21 December and was arranged as a gift to the families who use the services of the local charities that the law firm work with. Charities involved included; Leeds Mencap, Hannah House, SNAPS, Friends of Lucy Mai, Wilf Ward, St Gemma’s Hospice and RASAG.
The children were treated to a performance of Aladdin and A Christmas Carol plus a party with children’s entertainers SNAPSHOTS and lunch with their families and carers.
Jane Horton, Partner at Irwin Mitchell in Leeds, said: “Throughout the year we work with many local charities including those that work closely with and support children with disabilities. Annually we use this opportunity to bring everyone together and have a big party to put big smiles on children’s faces whose lives aren’t always typically easy. There’s nothing like experiencing the excitement of all these children around Christmas time.”
Also this month, Irwin Mitchell was the proud sponsor of the ‘Relaxed Performance’ held at the West Yorkshire Playhouse for families with disabled children.
