Former patients, carers and local groups to form feedback group
Patients at a Bath hospital are being invited to join a group discussing how services from food to telephone responses can be improved.
Former patients, carers, the public and local groups are also being encouraged by the NHS in Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) to join the group to improve services at Paulton Hospital. A similar group is being set up for St Martin's Community Hospital in Bath.
"The staff at both hospitals are committed to improving the quality of services and need the help of patients and others who use the service to do this," said matron Mairi Rider. "We are actively seeking the views of patients, carers, family, friends, charity groups and staff. The groups will meet on a quarterly basis alternating between afternoon and evening meetings."
The Turner Room at Paulton Memorial Hospital will be the venue for the first meeting, to be held on Tuesday May 11 from 3pm to 4.30pm. Expenses for travel including mileage and parking fees can be reclaimed.
