

Hearing Begins On 28th September
A hearing into two police officers from Greater Manchester charged with attacking a Wigan man during an arrest in June 2007, is scheduled to open at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 28th September 2009.
Sgt Paul Jackson and PC Michael Prendergast are accused of wounding with intent in relation to an alleged attack on 44-year-old Paul Molyneux from Ince, Wigan.
The case has been investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission. The hearing is listed from 28th September 2009 for three weeks at Liverpool Crown Court.
