Rehabilitation First Awards
Irwin Mitchell, the national full service law firm based at Riverside East, Sheffield, has won the Rehabilitation Initiative of the Year award at the Rehabilitation First Awards in London, for the second year running.
Hosted by the insurance industry's key publication Post Magazine at London Zoo on 26th June, the ceremony is now in its fifth year. The event aims to highlight the pioneering efforts of those people and businesses supporting the role of rehabilitation for severely injured people.
The awards are part of the Post Magazine's "Rehabilitation First" Campaign, now in its ninth year. This is the second award of the week for Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield after they also won Corporate Law Firm of the Year for South Yorkshire.
Neil Whiteley, Partner and brain injury specialist at the firm's Sheffield office said: "With every case that we work on at Irwin Mitchell we strive to ensure our clients receive the very best levels of care and rehabilitation they need to enable them to maximise their recovery and enjoy the best possible quality of life. Rehabilitation is at the forefront of our minds for every client.
"We are delighted to have been recognised for our best practice in this field. The award is a testament to the firm’s continued commitment to rehabilitation – it is at the core of what we do for our clients every day.
"Anything that helps raise awareness of what rehabilitation is all about is excellent news and we will continue trying to deliver inspired solutions to help our clients overcome the challenges they face."
Lynn Rouse, deputy editor of Post magazine and chair of the judging panel added: "Irwin Mitchell's proven one-stop-shop for severely injured clients, its policy of immediate rehabilitation assessment and tireless efforts to collaborate and co-operate with insurers made it a worthy winner - scooping the claimant solicitor award for the second year running."
