Sheffield based dealmakers Strategic Corporate Finance have advised on the successful sale of Ringland Construction to MBI candidate Linda Green, with legal advice being provided by Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield corporate team.
Ringland Construction is a Sheffield based firm specialising in the refurbishment of hotels and bars for Blue Chip customers including Marriott and Hilton. Ringland was established in 1991 by Harry Bell and Geoff Oakland and since then has earned a formidable reputation in the sector.
Geoff Oakland, who has reinvested in the new company and will stay on as Sales Director while Harry Bell leaves to pursue property interests elsewhere.
Kevan Shaw and Lisa Ritson from Strategic Corporate Finance ran an auction process, which led to the selection of Ms Green as the preferred bidder for Ringland Construction, and also provided advice to the shareholders, throughout the sale process.
