Driver flees
Police using dogs and a helicopter have hunted down a driver who fled the scene of a head-on collision with another car near Grantham.
A green Ford Mondeo and a blue Mitsubishi Galant had collided on the A52 between and Grantham and Muston.
Police officers, dog teams and a helicopter arrested the driver of the Galant after an extensive search.
He is being treated in hospital for minor injuries, and will be interviewed later.
The Mondeo driver, a 41-year-old woman from Sleaford, was trapped for over an hour and had to be cut free.
She suffered serious but non-life-threatening head, leg and pelvic injuries, and was taken to Lincoln County Hospital.
Two men also in the Mondeo sustained minor injuries.

David Urpeth from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "I welcome the police efforts following this serious road traffic accident.
"Even in cases where the driver fails to stop or isn't located, there is the possibility of pursuing a claim for damages following a road traffic accident. Such people who might pursue a claim include other drivers, passengers, cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians.
"I represent many people in bringing claims for compensation after suffering injury or deaths in road crashes."
If you have been injured in similar circumstances, you may be able to make a motor accident claim.
