Newcastle law firm wins accreditation
Newcastle based law firm Irwin Mitchell has received professional acknowledgement of their quality in personal injury law.
The firm has won accreditation from the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), an independent organisation with over 5,000 members. APIL accreditation is seen as a kitemark for competence and specialist expertise.
All APIL-accredited lawyers are specialist personal injury practitioners with at least five years experience of handling personal injury claims and must abide by a professional code of conduct and consumer charter.
Personal injury law covers a range of categories, including clinical negligence, occupational health and brain injury, all of which Irwin Mitchell have expertise.
APIL also campaigns for better laws to help people who are injured or become ill through no fault of their own.
John Davis, managing regional partner at Irwin Mitchells offices on Grey Street and personal injury lawyer, said: I am very pleased that the hard work we have put in, and the support we give our clients, has been recognised. Achieving APIL accreditation is great news not only for the lawyers at Irwin Mitchell, but also for our clients.
Our clients deserve and are guaranteed a professional level of service and expertise and this APIL accreditation will give them the all-important peace of mind they need when dealing with a law firm.
