Age discrimination laws
Since the new age discrimination laws were introduced, six weeks ago, more than 100 people have contacted the Equality Commission for advice.
The enquiries were a mixture of people who thought they had been discriminated against because of their age and employers who were seeking advice about the changes in the law.
Employers were advised by the Commission that in order to help stop workers making cases against them they should make sure that their policies complied with the new laws.
