Asbestos mesothelioma death
An inquest was told how a Leyland man died of mesothelioma cancer caused by nearly 40 years of breathing in "clouds of asbestos,".
Arthur Horsfield, 78, was regularly exposed to the lethal asbestos material at a factory in his hometown between the 1940s and 1980s.
He was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer earlier this year and died in September.
His daughter, Susan Lister, 54, said she remembered her father telling her of working closely with asbestos throughout his career.
A verdict of death by industrial disease, caused by exposure to asbestos, was recorded by the assistant deputy coroner.
