Nursery negligence claim
An inquest opens on Tuesday 21st March into the death of a 3-year-old Warwickshire girl, who drowned after disappearing from her village nursery.
HM Coroner for Warwickshire, Michael Coker and a jury will hear during a three-day inquest that Abigail Rae was discovered, drowned, in the pond of a neighbouring house in Lower Brailes, on 28 November 2002 after staff at the Ready, Teddy, Go Nursery discovered she was missing.

The family's solicitor, Rebecca Hearsey from the Birmingham office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, said: "An inquest into the death of a child is always traumatic, but Justin and Victoria Rae are relieved that after waiting for more than three years, a full inquest into Abigail's death is finally taking place.
"I am concerned that this inquest has taken an unusually long time to come to court due to the fact that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spent almost 3 years deliberating the case, before finally deciding in October 2005 not to prosecute the nursery for involuntary manslaughter."
Mr & Mrs Rae now hope that the Coroner will be able to gain answers to the many unanswered questions which surround the circumstances of Abigail's death.
The findings of the inquest will also be taken into account when pursuing the separate civil action against the nursery.
