Throughout our Be Part Of It campaign we asked you to pledge to show your support for inclusive sport and the people who play, watch, volunteer, fundraise and support it.
We promised to donate £1 for every pledge we received and that these donations would go to the grassroots clubs and charities that make disability sport possible up and down the country.
In total we received just short of 1000 pledges. As a thank you to everyone who supported the campaign, we’ve tripled that donation, leaving us with a total fund of £3000.
We asked you to vote for two clubs and one charity that each epitomise what Don't Quit, Do It is all about.
In just one week we received 7438 votes, thank you to everyone who showed support for inclusive sport.
Congratulations to Kings Hill Frame Football who received 5580 votes and have been awarded the £2000 grant to support the great work the club do on a day to day basis.
This money will enable the club to hire a larger indoor training facility for winter training and will mean that they can purchase specialist frames for their players. Most importantly it will mean that they can continue to grow as a team and provide more opportunities for disabled children in Kent to be a part of something very special.
As a thank you to other two organisations we will be donating £500 to Team Solent Sharks and The 53 Foundation who do so much to make inclusive sport happen.
