Irwin Mitchell were recently instructed to settle an occupiers liability claim made against a beauty salon, who’s mishandling of a procedure left a customer with skin injury and residual facial scaring.
In the December of 2009, our client was undergoing a routine infill treatment, to maintain her eyelash extensions. During the process, our client sustained a chemical burn to her cheek. The injury, which caused superficial skin loss and took two full weeks to heal, left permanent damage: a small scar on the client’s cheek.
Our specialist team were instructed in to help the client claim compensation for the injuries she had sustained as a result of someone else’s negligence.
The salon refused to admit fault, but an out of Court settlement meant that Irwin Mitchell were able to secure £7,000 for our client.
