Irwin Mitchell's specialist personal injury team in Sheffield has assisted a woman to claim compensation after a fall left her with a fractured wrist.
Our client was staying at the Defendant's property. On the morning of the accident the firm alarm was activated at the premises and our client and other guests exited the building using the external fire escape.
As our client approached the landing area between levels on the fire escape she slipped on an accumulation of algae and fell.
The fall caused her to fracture her left wrist which took 13 months to heal, although fortunately it healed well and no further treatment has been required.
The Defendants accepted responsibility for the accident and agreed to compensation of £4,400 to our client.
