Biography
I am an Associate in our Sheffield office, specialising in brain injury and spinal cord injury claims.
I first joined Irwin Mitchell in June 2008, where I gained experience working on the Legal Helpline, before working as a paralegal in the Product Liability Team.
I now work within the Serious Injury Team and represent clients who've been seriously injured following road traffic accidents, accidents at work or accidents in public places.
Rehabilitation is so important when a client has sustained a serious injury. I work hard to secure interim payments so my clients can access rehabilitation packages which allow them to make the best recovery possible and to support their families.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I first showed an interest in working in law when I carried out work experience at school. I then tailored my studies to follow this route and I didn’t look back! I gained work experience in different areas before I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in Personal Injury.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
The most rewarding part of my role is ensuring that clients have the opportunity to progress with their rehabilitation and seeing the goals that they achieve. I know that my efforts have made a difference and there is nothing more rewarding than this.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I like working within a hardworking, passionate and experienced team. We all care so much about our clients and they always come first in everything that we do. We also benefit from the expertise of other teams within Irwin Mitchell, such as the Court of Protection team and the Public Law and Human Rights department, so we can ensure that our clients get the assistance they require.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
When I am not at work, I like to go for long walks in the fresh air. I also enjoy reading and catching up with my family and friends.
