Biography
I am a solicitor specialising in private client disputes and litigation based in our London office. My clients include beneficiaries, personal representatives, trustees, attorneys, deputies, professional bodies and individuals.
My practice particularly involves bringing and defending claims concerning the validity of wills, disputes between executors (including applications for removal), claims for financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, proprietary estoppel claims, breach of trust claims and claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996. I also have experience in contentious Court of Protection work, where a dispute has arisen in relation to an individual who lacks capacity. I have also historically practiced in non-contentious private client work and therefore have familiarity in undertaking estate planning for clients and administering estates and trusts.
I regularly litigate in the County Court and High Court; however I seek to resolve disputes by negotiation or mediation wherever possible in order to maximise the benefits of settlement for my clients. I am committed to securing the best results for my clients whilst navigating them through the often complicated and stressful litigation process and I always ensure that my advice is tailored and pragmatic.
