Biography
Melanie is an employment solicitor with a broad range of expertise. Melanie joined Irwin Mitchell in 2022, having trained in a specialist employment law firm. She is equally experienced in advising individuals and organisations, and provides advice on all areas of employment law including:
- Unfair and wrongful dismissal;
- Discrimination, harassment and victimisation;
- Redundancies and business re-structure;
- Advising on settlement agreements;
- HR related matters, such as disciplinary and grievance matters; and
- Contract and policy reviews.
Key Highlights
Melanie is experienced employment tribunal work and representation and supports both claimants and respondents in a wide range of employment tribunal claims.
In addition to her usual day-to-day work, Melanie is French and is a member of the Irwin Mitchell French Desk and supports French clients in all aspects of employment law, in particular with supporting French businesses who want to expand their work into English jurisdiction.
