Biography
I am a solicitor on the Serious Injury team. We help people who've suffered serious and often life-changing injuries including brain injuries, spinal injuries, and severe orthopaedic injuries.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted a career which allowed me to help people. I'm especially passionate about serious injury because I work with people who're often at their most vulnerable and need help to get the support they need.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
It's great when we can secure interim payments to fund specialist treatment, rehabilitation and support for our clients to help them on their road to recovery. It is very inspiring to see our clients overcome various hurdles during their recovery and carve out their new normal post-injury.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
My colleagues are friendly, approachable, and work tirelessly for their clients, colleagues, and wider community. I have no doubt that I work with true experts in their respective fields.
Alongside helping people with legal matters, Irwin Mitchell works very hard to support charities and the wider community. I'm a member of the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation Committee and have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in planning and organising great fundraising events and activities.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and travelling to new places. I was born, raised and currently live in South Wales so am fortunate to have mountains on my doorstep.
I keep fit by playing netball, attending fitness classes, and going for long walks. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
