“It is good to see the government engaging with the industry on this. Invoice finance is vital for many businesses, small and large, and particularly those which are growing and creating jobs. The change will relieve one issue that prevents the use of this important source of finance and we can see only benefits to the business community.”
“This was a great deal to work on and we look forward to seeing the company develop and build on its market-leading position. The funding package puts the business in a strong position to build market share and once again highlights the flexibility and capability of ABL in helping to support corporate transactions.”
We are delighted to have advised on the Covpress deal and very pleased that it has picked up this prestigious award.
"The transaction was a significant deal in the West Midlands region which not only highlighted the attractiveness of our regional manufacturing base to buyers overseas, but also demonstrated how asset based lending complements traditional sources of funding and traditional transaction structures.
"To have three transactions that we advised on nominated is testament to the hard work of the entire Birmingham office of Irwin Mitchell."
To reach this deal value milestone highlights not only the strength of the team here in Birmingham but also the trend of recovery that we are all witnessing.
“We are proud to have represented lenders and borrowers on some bespoke, ground-breaking and very significant, but usually confidential, financial arrangements, many of which originate from working with local funders and the local business community in the Midlands. We very much hope that we continue to work with all of our business partners and have another strong year in 2014 and beyond”
