Biography
I qualified as a Solicitor in October 2020. I advise on Wills, powers of attorney, estate planning and administration of estates.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
A chance conversation with my English teacher about what I wanted to go on to study at sixth form college first inspired my interest in law. Then I began volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau. There I discovered that I enjoyed helping people and this ingrained the idea that I wanted to become a lawyer.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is that I get to help people at some of the most difficult and emotional stages of their lives. Knowing I have helped (even in a small way) is definitely highly rewarding.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell
I like the support I get from colleagues in my team and the firm as a whole. I’m never on my own and there is always someone who can help me.
The firm genuinely does care about its employees as people first and foremost.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Outside of work I enjoy walking, swimming and playing netball. I also enjoy reading and travelling to new places whenever I can.
