I'm a Solicitor in the Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team in Sheffield. I started my training contract at Irwin Mitchell in 2016 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2018.
I have experience with different types of disputes including validity of wills, claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act, and disputes between beneficiaries and executors.
I provide clear, practical and logical legal advice to help people resolve their disputes as quickly as possible.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
After completing my history degree, a career in the law was not guaranteed to be the next step. When considering my career options, I managed to obtain legal work experience and thoroughly enjoyed the diverse nature of the work and how no two days were the same. This kickstarted my interest and here we are!
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
When clients really appreciate the time and effort you put in to ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I am an active individual and a competitive sportsman. I have played hockey since the age of 7 and I currently play in the National League for Doncaster. I also enjoy long distance running and playing football for Irwin Mitchell every Tuesday evening. Away from sport, I enjoy socialising with friends, eating out (especially curry), and travelling.
