Biography
I provide support to case handlers in the Serious injury department in Sheffield. Many of our clients have suffered life changing injuries and I assist in working on claims in regards to case work, administrative tasks and client support.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
My colleagues have supported me in developing my skills, whilst also encouraging me to remain true to myself. Everyone is approachable and down to earth, from partners to the support staff. There is a sense of togetherness and it makes working in a fast paced environment so much better.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Talking to clients at the start of a claim, its clear to see the impact their injuries have had on the physical but also emotional wellbeing. The sense of relief and optimism a client has for the future at the end of a claim is both rewarding and inspiring to see.
What inspired you to get into law?
I found studying law at University fascinating, but what really interested me was how the law affects people, and the remedies that are available for people who have negatively affected by others.
What do you do away from the office?
I try to get to the gym as much as I can. I also love going on walks in the peak district. I have taken a break from it, but I am looking to get back into kickboxing and MMA training in the future.
