I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team, based in Irwin Mitchell’s London office. I studied Law at the University of Kent, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford.
I have my own caseload of medical law claims including cancer cases (relating to delay in diagnosis, misdiagnosis and negligent treatment) and cases involving clients who have become injured due to surgical error. I represent families who have been bereaved as a result of substandard medical practice and I also have a special interest in cosmetic surgery claims. I regularly advise on the outcome of surgeries including: breast augmentation, rhinoplasty and abdominoplasty surgeries.
I strive to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients, with an emphasis on keeping them fully informed throughout the litigation process.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I wanted to enter into a profession where I could help people and make a difference. I chose to practice in medical negligence because I'm very interested in medical law.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Knowing that I have helped support my clients through difficult times in their lives and helped them to secure the funding that they need to pay for future care and treatment, and to improve their quality of life.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I enjoy working at Irwin Mitchell because I am part of a supportive team whose main focus is achieving the best possible outcome for our clients. Irwin Mitchell also hosts a number of events to support various charities, which I enjoy taking part in.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Outside of work I enjoy dancing, travelling to different countries, and spending time with my family and friends.
