I work on a variety of family matters ranging from divorce, financial settlement and children contact arrangements.
I assist partners and associates with complex matrimonial finance and children matters and I also run a small case load of matters of a less complicated nature.
I have a particular interest in financial agreement, namely pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
What inspired you to get into law?
Being able to assist people in their time of need. The idea of court is very daunting for most clients but it is part of my every day so I can talk them through the process and reassure them that it is not as overwhelming as it may first seem.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is that each and every case is different meaning every client can be treated as the individuals they are. This is key when family matters are such an important part of people’s lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Being involved from the beginning of a case and assisting the client in concluding their case in the most beneficial way possible.
What do you do away from the office?
When I am not in the office I like to go walking in the Peak District, attend concerts, and go to the cinema and theatre.
