I have been acting for clients involved in accidents abroad for over 16 years. I deal with the clients from the very first phone call all the way through to the conclusion of their claim. I have dealt with all sorts of claims, from fairly minor slips and trips to multi-action high value coach crashes.

When someone is injured abroad, whether it's whilst they're on holiday, working or travelling, it can be a very frightening experience. My many years of experience can help guide clients through the process to reach the ultimate goal of obtaining compensation. The International Personal Injury team and I can organise rehabilitation, obtain interim payments and provide general support to best help individuals through the claim process and to aid them with their recovery.

What Inspired You To Get Into Law?

I was inspired to work in law after taking a legal secretary course at college. Since then I have learnt the ropes through working on different cases. I started working at Irwin Mitchell in 1999 as a paralegal in their International Personal Injury department and thoroughly enjoy acting for people who have been injured abroad.

What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?

Being able to help my clients through the difficult process of proceeding with a legal claim and ultimately obtaining compensation which, in many instances, are life changing.

What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?

As one of the leading personal injury firms, this gives me the opportunity to work on high profile and complex cases. I've always been made to feel part of the Irwin Mitchell team.

What Do You Do Away From The Office?

I have two young children so most of my spare time is spent looking after them. When I get a rare moment to myself I enjoy socialising with friends and watching cricket.
