I'm a solicitor in the Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team. I'm based in our Manchester office but also have experience working in Leeds and Birmingham.
I specialise in a wide range of Estate, Will and Trust disputes that may arise, including:
- Will validity challenges
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975
- Disputes surrounding the ownership of assets under the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and constructive trust cases
- Executor and trustee disputes
- Proprietary estoppel cases
- Financial abuse matters.
I act for private individuals nationally in both advancing and defending such claims.
What inspired you to get in to law?
I also enjoy the intellectual challenge that the nature of the work brings and the client facing nature of the work.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of the role is navigating clients through challenging times in their life and achieving a positive result.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I have worked at the firm since 2017 starting as a paralegal and I've progressed in my career with Irwin Mitchell. While being based in our Manchester office, I've experienced working in our Leeds and Birmingham offices. I also enjoy being part of a national team which means I'm able to catch up with colleagues all over the country!
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work, I enjoy being with friends and attending music events. I also thoroughly enjoy cooking and hosting dinner for friends!
