I am an associate in the Medical Negligence team and have been working at Irwin Mitchell since 2011.
I act for Claimants in a wide variety of medical negligence cases against NHS Trusts, General Practitioners, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. I handle a wide range of cases including delayed diagnoses of cancer, surgical negligence, stillbirths/neonatal deaths, birth injuries, amputations, spinal injuries, and fatal cases.
"We were extremely lucky to be assigned Charlotte Civico as our solicitor who looked after us. She was very professional and supportive and very compassionate to my situation. She was always available to answer and questions very promptly and always replied to any questions and concerns. In my opinion, a pleasure to deal with and a asset to Irwin Mitchell. I have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte and Irwin Mitchell to friends and family. Many thanks." - 5* Trustpilot review

Charlotte Civico was my solicitor and from the beginning of my claim right through to the end where my case was won Charlotte kept me informed every step of the way, always advising me about my options and explaining everything to me in an easy to understand manner. "I had to find a solicitor due to a negligent claim and because I had no insurance it had to be a company that offered a no win no few agreement . . . Charlotte Civico was my solicitor and from the beginning of my claim right through to the end where my case was won Charlotte kept me informed every step of the way, always advising me about my options and explaining everything to me in an easy to understand manner. I would definitely advise anyone to use Irwin Mitchell solicitors" – Kerry, client
"From the start I was treated with dignity, compassion and professionalism, through a difficult time I never felt that anything was too much trouble, they were brilliant, especially my solicitor Charlotte Civico a wonderful person who gave me the confidence to go forward and saw me through this awful time."

"The only word I have to describe the 'service' I received from Charlotte and her team throughout the entire process is excellent!!! At no point did my faith in the management of my claim by her falter at any time. From start to finish she was professional, thorough and empathetic. Though my life will never be the same again because of what happened to me, in securing a payout on my behalf it is thanks to her that the element of financial stress and worry has been removed from my life. This has helped me so much. I have at last been able to settle the debts accrued due to not being able to work as a result of what happened. Words cannot describe how thankful I am." – Client
"... I would like to thank Irwin Mitchell for pursuing my case against Yorkshire Ambulance Trust... Above all, I value the conclusion you achieved on my behalf. The result was significant and gratifying and I admire your skill and tenacity in making it happen. Thank you."
