Biography
I specialise in the quantification of Special Damages Schedules, that being the financial loss suffered by the client as a result of an accident. Unique to Irwin Mitchell, the Special Damages Unit delivers Schedules of Loss for all Personal Injury Solicitors. I am a long standing Team Leader and started work in the department in 1998.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
Upon commencing my career I wasn’t looking for a position specific to law. I looked for a financial based position suited to my analytical approach to work. This position challenges me everyday, every client case is a puzzle that needs solving. I get to be involved with delivering the best result for our clients.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
As a team leader I get to develop, progress and promote my team members. In addition, I have a great deal of scope to improve my business area, the service to the Solicitors and our clients as a result.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?

What Do You Do Outside Of The Office?
Apart from spending time with family I do have a passion for property renovation. Otherwise, if the chance arises, golf is my pastime of choice.
