Experian, the global information services company, has ranked Irwin Mitchell in 4th place within its UK league table which is based on the number of corporate transactions it has advised clients on throughout 2016. The firm, which has invested heavily in building its Corporate team in recent years and further bolstered it following the merger with Thomas Eggar, has significantly improved on last year’s national ranking of 20. In terms of regional breakdown, Irwin Mitchell was placed 2nd in the South East and in Yorkshire, 5th in the Midlands and 7th in the East of England. The team was also recognised in the league table in Wales for the first time. Expert Opinion“This is a great result and builds on our success of making the top 20 in 2015. Not only have we scored highly in the national table, we have improved our ranking in every region that we are based in and this is testament to the investment we have made and of course continue to make. “Irwin Mitchell has advised some great clients on some great transactions in 2016 and as a team we should be extremely proud of our efforts, particularly in year where there was so much political and economic uncertainty. 2017 will be full of new challenges but this ranking highlights the strength in depth that we have and I believe this will be crucial as we look to build on future opportunities.” Chris Rawstron, Partner Key contact Chris Rawstron Partner +44(0)773 027 4439 Email Chris Press contact David Shirt Press Officer 0161 838 3094 Email David Tags M&A deals Experian Related articles 24.04.2018Trio Of Leeds Businesses Join Forces To Encourage Better Team Dynamics 19.04.2018Labour Announces Green Paper: 'Housing for the Many' 18.04.2018Glasgow-Based Firm Looks To Continue Winning Tradition At Credit Awards 18.04.2018Irwin Mitchell Advise Sheffield Hallam University As World Leading Research Centre Gets Underway 16.04.2018Southern Economies Set To Continue Domination Over Next 10 Years
