Police Appeal For Information Over Primark Balcony Fall Death Woman Dies Following Incident At Liverpool Store 23.10.2013 Merseyside Police are appealing for information after a 57-year-old woman died after falling from a third-floor balcony at a Primark store on Liverpool’s Church Street yesterday evening (October 22nd). Officers were called to the scene by paramedics after the woman was found in a critical condition at the bottom of escalators on the ground floor of the store. She was taken to Royal University Liverpool Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. A post-mortem is being held to establish the cause of death. Police have asked for witnesses to come forward and also confirmed they are reviewing CCTV in relation to the incident, which has come five years after a three-year-old girl was seriously injured after falling through a gap between escalators at the same store.
