Wakefield Event To Be Held On July 2nd
Employment law specialists are holding a Mock Tribunal next month to give people involved in managing employees an opportunity to learn more about how Employment Tribunal Hearings work.
The event will show ‘live’ tribunal proceedings based on a real case played out for potential witnesses to improve their understanding of the tribunal process as well as providing tips and advice on case preparation and giving evidence.
Members of Irwin Mitchell’s Yorkshire employment team will also be on hand to offer supplementary information on best practice and to answer delegates’ questions.
Samantha Clark, an employment law specialist from Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office who will be at the event, said: “Through our work we are regularly asked for guidance and advice about Employment Tribunals, as the concept remains a mystery to many employers.
“The aim of the Mock Tribunal is to demystify the process and also give guidance and answer questions on the various legal issues which need to be considered before, during and after involvement in a case.
“Often this is not straightforward and we look forward to helping attendees gain a better understanding of the tribunal process as well as providing an update on recent changes to the system and further developments in the pipeline.”
Irwin Mitchell’s Mock Employment Tribunal will be held on July 2nd at Cedar Court Hotel, Denby Dale Road, Calder Grove, Wakefield, WF4 3QZ from 8.45am to 12.00pm.
