Anglia Completes Tri-Wire's Factory Acquisition Deal Illustrates New Owner's Long-Term Commitment 31.08.2012 The Sheffield office of law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has advised Wakefield-based Anglia Metal Limited on its circa £2m acquisition of the factory in Normanton formerly occupied by Tri-Wire Limited.Normanton-based copper wire manufacturer, Tri-Wire, was bought by Anglia in a pre-packaged deal at the end of May 2012 after its parent company, B3 Industries, was placed into administration. The deal saved 30 personnel from unemployment. In a move which illustrates Anglia’s commitment to the long-term future of the business, the management team has purchased Tri-Wire’s factory rather than take on the existing lease. Anglia Metal is planning to use the existing 55,000 sq ft. facility in Normanton for the production of copper wire for telecom, industrial, automotive and building cable sectors. Partner Paul Firth and solicitor David Goy from Irwin Mitchell’s Real Estate team in Sheffield advised Anglia’s management team on the deal. David said: “We are delighted to complete this latest deal on behalf of Anglia. The initial pre-pack deal back in May was important as it safeguarded jobs, but this latest acquisition is just as significant as it points to Anglia’s long-term commitment to the facility.” Press contact Dave Grimshaw Press Officer 0114 274 4397 Email Dave Tags Real Estate Sheffield David Goy Related articles 20.03.2019Government Issues Recommendation for Leasehold Reform 15.03.2019Irwin Mitchell Recruits Hundreds Of Volunteers For Red Nose Day 2019 15.03.2019Irwin Mitchell Scoops Hat-trick At Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards 13.03.2019Sheffield City Region Launches Global Innovation Corridor At MIPIM 2019 08.03.2019Irwin Mitchell Launches Women in Law Timeline 05.03.2019Does A Rest Break At Work Have To Be Continuous?
