Birmingham Office Builds on Legal 500 Success

The Birmingham office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has appointed Associate Omer Simjee to its Employment team.

Joining from Pinsent Masons in Birmingham, Omer is an employment lawyer experienced in advising a range of companies including multi-national organisations, financial institutions, IT and outsourcing companies and manufacturing businesses.

Omer is a robust litigator with a track record of success defending claims in the Employment Tribunal.  Day to day, Omer is involved with drafting employment documentation and advising on strategic HR issues.  He has particular expertise in TUPE, redundancies, outsourcing and managing senior executive exits. 

Omer is also a business immigration specialist who is experienced in bringing executives into the UK and in assisting corporate clients to comply with their obligations to prevent illegal working.
