‘Answers Vital’ Following Major M11 Coach Crash Two People Killed In Collision 03.05.2011 A full investigation into a road traffic collision on the M11 which left two people dead and just under 50 others injured is vital, an injury expert at Irwin Mitchell has demanded. Reports have revealed that a lorry collided with a coach on the southbound carriageway of the motorway, with the driver of the HGV and a passenger at the back of the coach fatally injured. It is thought that six people were seriously injured in the incident, which was close to Stansted Airport in Essex, while more than 40 were hospitalised with minor knocks. Gary Walker, a group claims specialist at Irwin Mitchell, said that a full investigation is needed into how the crash came to occur. He explained: “This incident has had a massive impact on a number of people and it is vital that information can be gathered into how this came to occur. “We have helped a number of people in the past who have been injured in serious road traffic collisions in the past. Our experiences have shown that those injured in the crash, as well as their loved ones, will undoubtedly have a number of questions as to what happened. “An investigation will hopefully highlight the events leading up to the crash, as well as details that can be used to ensure further incidents of this kind can be avoided in the future.” If you or a loved one has suffered a physical or psychological injury due a road traffic accident involving a bus or coach, you may be able to claim compensation.
