Car 'Collided With Tree'
Police in Sussex have revealed that a man has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision on Brighton’s Grand Parade.
The man was believed to be in a car containing four passengers when it collided with a tree on the road just before 7am this morning (January 21st).
Emergency services including East Sussex Fire and Rescue have attended the scene of the incident, while the one way system in the area has been closed as the crash is investigated.
Colin Ettinger, a specialist at Irwin Mitchell’s London office who provides advice to those hurt in road traffic collisions, said: “While details on the incident are so far sketchy, it is vital that the police and other emergency services work quickly to give a fuller picture of the events.
“We see first-hand the terrible emotional and physical damage that incidents of this can cause on those involved and their loved ones, so it is vital every care is taken to discover what happened in the lead-up to the collision.
“Any information that can be gathered in the aftermath could be vital in ensuring no one else suffers in the same manner in the future.”
