Medical Negligence Solicitor Comments
An inquest is due to take place on Tuesday April 20th to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year old Staffordshire man.
Malcolm Drake from Blurton in Stoke on Trent died at home on Christmas Day 2007.
HM Coroner for Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, Ian Stewart Smith will hold the inquest, listed as a one day hearing, into Mr Drake’s death, starting at 9.00am on Tuesday 20th April, at Hanley Town Hall, Stoke on Trent.
Lindsay Gibb, a medical negligence solicitor with law firm, Irwin Mitchell, who is representing Mr Drake’s family, said: “Malcolm was a devoted father to son, Zak, who was only five months old when his father died. Malcolm’s partner, Sophie Lindop, has found it extremely hard to come to terms with what happened and very much hopes that the inquest will shed light on the circumstances which led to Malcolm’s tragic death.”
