Katie Price and Peter Andre separation
Former glamour model Katie Price and 90s pop singer Peter Andre have announced they are separating after three-and-a half years of marriage.
A statement released by the couple's management company made no mention of divorce but asked "the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time".
Following the statement Ms Price, who was known as Jordan during her modelling career, said the split was not her decision and was out of her hands.
She added she was "devastated" by her husband's decision, but she would always love him.
The pair found romance on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 and were married in September 2005.
Recent newspaper reports have hinted at strains in the relationship and the pair were often caught rowing on their ITV fly-on-the-wall shows. Until now however, rumours that the marriage was on the brink of collapse have been denied.
The couple have two children together Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, who is nearly two. Ms Price, 30, has another child, Harvey, from a previous relationship.

Kevin Harris-James from Irwin Mitchell's Family Law Team commented: "Katie and Peter have allowed the media into every aspect of their lives to date, reaping significant financial rewards: autobiographies; fly on the wall documentaries, just about every weekly publication on the shelf.
"Indeed Katie and Peter have lived every aspect of their lives, and their children's, through the press throughout this marriage. Having effectively sold their souls to the media can they legitimately expect the media not to follow this separation, as if it were merely another chapter in this very public soap?
"Given the recent changes in the rules allowing access to the family courts, one thing you can be sure is this separation (if it becomes a divorce) will test the very boundaries of those new rules as a media frenzy is whipped up."
